God’s Protection During a Grassfire

This is what God’s protection looks like. So Sunday we had a really bad grassfire a mile east and north of our neighborhood. I posted a prayer request on our kids church small group leaders FB page and my family and I took some time and prayed for Jesus to protect these homes and families. I drove down the road where the fire had occurred this morning to see the damage. About halfway up this road is where the fire stopped, right before getting to several large neighborhoods, one where my daughter’s best friend lives. Going north from there, the earth is scorched and burned, blackened. There’s still a number of homes in the burned part of the countryside. Here’s the incredible part…the land is torched all around these houses, but I couldn’t find one that had any fire damage. It was literally Isaiah 43:3, “When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” God heard our prayers and answered them through his protection, whether supernatural, through our firefighters, or even a slight shift in wind direction, he did it.

For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of Yahweh endures forvever! Praise Yahweh! – Psalm 117:2

I got to see God’s real protection in situ from last weekend when we cried out to him to protect homes and families, and he did it. He came through. God comes through for us. He does. It’s true! And I have the story and the photographic evidence to prove it. What a faithful God we engaged to!

God bless you my friends 🙂

Hope you have an AMAZING weekend!
