Hey everyone!
I am missing the conversations and fellowships that have been had on here! I apologize, this year has been crazy, from basically being sick most days to starting short term foster care, to starting my book, to mentoring a married couple of close friends, it’s been busy. But that being said, I wanted to pop in here and say hi!
A good meet & greet question I have for us today is: what are you hoping to do in 2017?
I am hoping to finish a new book I am writing this year, as well as continue foster care and maybe maybe even adopt. And continue home school, hopefully working in more programming and Biblical languages into my daughter’s work.

Hey there. I really like you write “hope to do” and not “new year resolution”… 😉
You have some great goals there and I do pray you will get there on all accounts according to His will for you and your family.
As for me… I’m sensing that a lot of change is coming this year and perhaps next year too. But I’m unsure of what changes and where the Lord is taking my family and I. So much is up in the air, so for 2017 I hope to see where the pieces fall.
I know it sounds vague and strange perhaps, but changes are coming and as usual, they are not small.

Haha! Thx! I never do actual new years resolutions. And I rarely even set goals for a year, but I was talking with Jesus new years eve and came up with a couple things when I was talking with him.
Well I pray that wherever it is, it’s deeper in his love and grace. Vague is ok! I know the feeling, especially when I know changes are coming but the details stay gray. Hope your week is good! Bless you and yours! Joel

Happy new year! I have been in the same boat. Sick for far too long and other things taking priority.
I am missing the blogging myself.
I know this year has a lot of growth coming cause I am experiencing the growing pains. I pray that I can this year learn to lean on Him more. Learn more about what faith really means. I’m getting a taste of that already.

Hey Johanna! First, how did things go at end of year last month with recitals? I’ve been off blogging for too long I finally just had to take the time and do it. I think this year has a lot of growth for me too. I’m so busy these days! God definitely has a lot ongoing in my life right now, which is good! Blessings to you as well! I just saw this. So sorry. The recitals went well. Thank you for asking. Now a another month or so and I’ll be preparing for spring performances. It never ends. Haha! God is working on me through it all. 🙂
